Blackman: He’s a “secret apprentice” because Darth Vader is training him in complete isolation to one day help him overthrow the Emperor. No one can know that the Apprentice exists -- if the Emperor discovered his existence, he would kill both Vader and the Apprentice.

What is the Secret Apprentice's mission? What is he trying to do?
Blackman: Early on, the Apprentice is aiding Vader on his quest to purge the galaxy of the remaining Jedi. But, he’s really being trained to one day stand beside Vader against the Emperor. However, the story goes through several twists and turns, so the Apprentice’s goals at the end of the game are not necessarily the same as they are at the beginning.

What is Emperor Palpatine's Order 66 and how does that affect the game?
Blackman: Order 66 was the order Palpatine issued to wipe out the Jedi in Episode III. Since that time, the Jedi have been on the run or in hiding. It’s part of Darth Vader’s job to hunt down any of these survivors.

Motorola SLVR L6i

Akhirnya N-Gageku tewas setelah menemaniku dengan setia dan tulus hati selama 2 tahun ini(di format, di hardreset, install aplikasi, install game, dioprek dalemannya, diganti micnya, diganti back casingnya, diganti front casingnya). pengamatanku kerusakan yang dialami bukan karena software tetapi karena hardware, ada kerusakan kapasitor sehingga tidak ada detak jantungnya sedikitpun. aku belum mengambil langkah untuk flashing karena kerusakanannya berbeda dengan sebelum2nya.

Aku berencana mau membeli handset baru... tetapi masih pikir-pikir karena terlalu sayang membelanjakan uang besar hanya demi sebuah handset :D. akhirnya aku coba melirik handset2 yang dibandrol dengan harga 1 juta kebawah.

Aku menemukan HP cantik dan elegant dibawah 1 juta dari motorola, bentuknya slim dan sangat tipis, menurutku sih keren banget. waktu aku melihat HP ponakan dia pake ini (MOtorola SLVR L6) Langsung jatuh hati deh, cuman agak kurang seneng layarnya sih masih CSTN sehingga tampilan layarnya agak jelek.

Saya cari2 di internet ternyata SLVR L6 punya adik namanya SLVR L6i, perbedaannya hanya pada penambahan fasilitas radio yang ditanam pada tubuh SLVR L6i.
SLVR L6 dibandrol dengan harga 925 an sedang adiknya di bandrol dengan harga 965 an

tapi secara keseluruhan ok lah buat bergaya hehe.

Pagi my S60 ku... sudah lama gak posting disini (terlalu sibuk, kesibukan, pura-pura sibuk ) :D,
Pagi ini tepat jam 6.44 Am di laptop temenku, saya mencoba untuk posting lagi nih, setelah semalaman browsing gratisan kepikiran untuk nambah koleksi tulisanku disini he he (mumpung yang punyanya gak ada di tempat :D) .

oke temen-temen barusan saya browsing ke salah satu situs ke sayanganku yang khusus menyediakan koleksi game dan aplikasi untuk handphone Symbian. saya masuk ke thread game tapi belum ada game-game yang menurut saya menarik, sampai akhirnya saya ngubek dapet ini game. namanya atlantis redux.

game ini di upload oleh seorang member forum tapi statusnya dia di banned oleh admin forum gak tau kenapa hihi dan gamenya bukan baru kayaknya karena di upload pada bulan agustus 2006.

sedikit review tentang game ini
game ini terdiri dari 4 episode dan menurut keterangannya sih game ini adalah game puzzle (deskripsi gamenya kurang jelas), tapi yang membuat saya tertarik adalah screen shot yang diberikan cool.., coba deh lihat screen shotnya:

Bagi temen-temen yang pernah bermain game strategy perang di komputer seperti Age of Empire, kali ini saya akan mereview game khusus untuk n-gage yang mempunyai konsep sama seperti Age of Empire.
Sesuai dengan namanya "High Seize" , game ini mempunyai misi merampas daerah-daerah kekuasaan. macam membuat imperial gitulah. game ini mengambil latar laut jadi macam bajak laut yang singgah ke satu pulau ke pulau lain untuk menguasai daerah itu.

Nokia Care - Really Care?

Akhirnya hidup lagi Nokia 3660 punya adikku setelah di operasi 1 jam lamanya di UGD Nokia care. pengalaman pertama waktu flashing N-gage ku ( sekitar awal february) saya mendapat pelayanan yang kurang memuaskan dari pihak Nokia Care. waktu itu saya mendapatkan costumer service yang nyebelin. waktu saya menanyakan mengenai keadaan HP saya (pura-pura g tau penyakitnya) saya mala dicuekkin, si mbak-mbaknya nanya sambil main-mainin MP3 Player di HPnya (N-gage QD) gak serius gituh, padahal saya tau N-gage saya lebih bagus darinya hi hi :D.

Nah waktu tadi siang saya datang ke tempat yang sama dan saya sebelumnya sudah memperhatikan ada gak mbak2 yang dulu melayani saya. taunya ada! saya berusaha menghindar dari dia dan beruntung sekali kebetulan saya mendapat costumer service yang lain. tapi jangan seneng dulu ternyata si mbak yang satu ini sama juteknya gubrag deh.

Sebagai informasi kalau temen-temen punya masalah dengan HP Nokia dan mau service di Nokia care ini langkah-langkahnya:

pertama akan ditanya dulu apa masalah dengan hp anda
kalau masalahnya adalah WSOD (white screen of death) maka si Nokia akan menyarankan untuk reflash ulang (flashing).
Untuk Biaya flashing katanya berbeda-beda tergantung harga HP dan type (aneh deh). kemarin waktu N-gage ku di flashing 75 rebu tapi tadi yang 3660 100 rebu padahal saya fikir sama aja karena HP ini punya versi symbian yang sama.
kalau setelah di flashing matot (mati total) Pihak Nokia menyarankan untuk service hardware dan biaya servicenya sekitar 300 ribu lebih. alamakkkk mending beli hp baru :D
Untuk Hp yang non garansi anda akan disodorkan surat perjanjian yang isinya kurang lebih :" Pihak Nokia tidak akan bertanggung jawab apabila setelah di service HP mati total dan pihak nokia tidak akan mengembalikan biaya service" heleh..., aneh bener kan.
lama Service untuk flashing (1 jam) kalo ngga sibuk (banyak order)
jangan kaget kalau anda setuju dengan perjanjian itu, maka pihak Nokia akan membongkar HP anda dengan alesan "Cek Kondisi HP". Hp akan dibuka casing luar ama dalemnya diliat2 setelah itu ditutup lagi. idih.....
Tidak ada jaminan sedikitpun dari mereka tentang kesembuhan Hp anda, mereka hanya berkata cansnya 50-50. gambling amat....
Untuk garansi service software (flasing) tidak ada!!!, biaya service hardware 2 Minggu

Setelah cukup lama mempertimbangkan akhirnya dengan berat hati 3660 adikku di operasi di Nokia care center, biarpun hidup BT juga service di Nokia care. Nokia care-really care??

Pocket PC - Thera Audiovox (OOT)

Rencananya hari ini aku mau bawa 3660 adikku ke UGD Nokia care center (halah UGD :D) , sebelumnya saya coba buka-buka internet lagi untuk mastiin apakah sudah tidak bisa ditolong lagi atau masih ada harapan hi hi hi. saat enak-enaknya browsing ada temenku bawa Pocket PC thera audiovox. terus keingitan deh kalo di kantorku ada tiga orang yang pake PDA ( dua orang pake thera dan 1 orang pake IPAQ dari HP) mereka ini bukan orang-orang yang penting loh dan juga bukan boss :D, tapi mereka temen-temenku yang suka ngoprak-ngoprek barang terutama HP dan PDA.
Akhiranya saya coba cari-cari review untuk thera audiovox di internet.

Dari beberapa pengalaman yang menggunakan Thera Audivox hampir semua puas menggunakan PDA ini begitu juga saya yang ikut-ikutan ngoprek biarpun g punya :D, tapi ada beberapa kekurangan pada PDA ini diantaranya :

Boros batrei ini disebabkan karena LCD dan warna display dari thera yang mengkonsumsi banyak resource.
Talking / pembicaraan telepon hanya bisa speaker phone (loud speaker).
Jumlah sms standard hanya 163 karakter!, kalau mau lebih dari itu harus create new sms lagi hi hi hi. g praktis kan?

wih....., penyakit WSOD ini bukan penyakit baru bagi pengguna Handphone yang menggunakan Operating System Symbian. hampir semua orang yang menggunakan Handphone berbasis Symbian kena ini penyakit baik sadar atau tidak sadar. maksudnya sadar orang yang suka ngoprak-ngoprek, install sana-sini game dan aplikasi atau yang tidak sadar yang secara tidak sadar memperhatikan memory HPnya kepenuhan gara-gara lupa ngehapusin sms yang sudah banyak dan berjibul.

weh-weh, kata adikku HP nya tewas pada saat dia mau ngirim SMS, saat itu keluar alert " message sending error" dan tiba-tiba hpnya restart dan tidak mau up lagi, hanya keluar Nokia scren LOGO dan setting jam kemudian restart lagi sampe 3 kali dan akhirnya off.

Dia tanya sama saya apakah bisa dioprek?
saya cuman ketawa-ketawi karena saya tahu HPnya kena WSOD. dia pikir batrenya drop dia coba untuk charge batrenya tapi tetep saat dinyalain cuman keliatan Nokia Logonya aja trus restart terus2an ampe off.

Akhirnya saya coba cari beberapa artikel di internet tentang problem solving wsod
dan saya dapatkan beberapa tip untuk mereset (Hard Reset) ulang softwarenya.
Hard reset ( informasi phone book, sms, settingan semua akan hilang)

1. dalam keadaan mati tekan * + 3 + green button kemudian nyalakan HP
2. tekan pencil dalam keadaan mati terus HP dinyalakan
3. tekan *#7370# kalo hp dalam keadaan hidup

katanya itu bisa hardreset untuk jenis Nokia 3650, 3660, 6600
saya coba satu persatu tapi hasilnya nihil, HP adikku tetep membisu. akhirnya saya punya kesimpulan HP ini harus dilarikan juga ke Nokia care sama dengan N-gage ku :( hiks. dan biaya operasinya (flashing) sekitar 50-100 ribu. andai aku punya alatnya saya mending flashing sendiri deh soalnya cuman format drive "C" doang hi hi.

Bagi sahabat-sahabat yang pernah memutar Video di Komputer dengan Div-X player sekarang sahabat bisa memutarnya dengan divx player di handphone. format file video yang diputar adalah format *.avi.

Sudoku requires no calculation or arithmetic skills. It is essentially a game of placing numbers in squares, using very simple rules of logic and deduction. It can be played by children and adults and the rules are simple to learn.

The objective of the game is to fill all the blank squares in a game with the correct numbers. There are three very simple constraints to follow. In a 9 by 9 square Sudoku game:
-Every row of 9 numbers must include all digits 1 through 9 in any order
-Every column of 9 numbers must include all digits 1 through 9 in any order
-Every 3 by 3 subsection of the 9 by 9 square must include all digits 1 through 9

Similarly, smaller Sudoku puzzles, such as the 4x4 puzzle, must have the numerals 1 through 4 in each row, column and subsection. Larger Sudoku games (16 by 16) must have numerals 1 through 16 in each row, column and region. The principles are the same whatever the size of the game.

Every Sudoku games begins with a number of squares already filled in, and the difficulty of each game is largely a function of how many squares are filled in. Installing .sis file to your s60 phone's

Here's step by step how installing application (*.sis) file to your s60 phone's

Use Bluetooth, infrared file transfer, or a USB connection to copy the .sis file to your phone. If you do not have access to either, send the file to your phone as an e-mail attachment.
Open your phone's inbox and select the .sis file you just transferred. This should start the installation. Some phones come with PC software to handle installations, you may of course also use this. some of s60 phone's (N-7650, N-3650, N-3660, N-Ngage) doesnt have File manager to manage the file installation. u need installing File manager Before, like as FExplorer or X-Plorer.

How to installing FExplorer?

If your FExplorer is in sis format u can follow step 1 and 2 on top
If your phone doesnt have connection, u need extract sis file to application file by unmakesis software.
Copy file extraction (include directory) to your MMC using Card Reader to directory E:\System\apps\

If your phone has very little free memory left, you will likely get an out-of-memory message during installation.
Try removing unnecessary files from your phone. If you have already received the message "Saving file to Installer", you can safely delete the Opera .sis file from your inbox, which should free enough memory to finish the installation.

Tip: Installing to a memory card is recommended, as it will leave more memory for other applications.

I have collected and listed some secret codes on S60 phones to display various useful information.
To enter theses codes, the phone must be in the idle screen (not in the menu screen). What is idle screen? This is the screen where you see the operator name, date, time, battery level, signal strength and some other stuff. You can switch between idle screen and menu screen using Menu key.

*#0000# - Display the software version, the date when the software was built and the phone model. In some cases, the phone model is not the one used by marketing. It is the internal model used inside Nokia.
*#06# - Display IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identify) of your phone.
*#7780# (*#rst0*) - This will soft reset your phone, all data, like contacts, calendar and notes, are not removed. It will only reset the phone settings, such as profiles, themes and shortcuts. The default lock code is 12345.
*#7370# - Hard reset, all data, like contacts, calendar and notes, will be removed.
There is another key combination which is used to hard reset the phone (similar to #*7370). It is useful in some cases, for example when the phone cannot reboot. The trick is by switching off the phone then press and hold Call key (Green key) + * key + 3 key + power button for a couple of seconds. This key combination doesn’t work on some S60 phones (s60 ver1)
*#2820# (*#BTA0#) - Display the Bluetooth device address of your phone.
*#62209526# (*#MAC0WLAN) - Display the MAC address of the WLAN adapter. This is available only in the newer devices that support WLAN
*#67705646# This will clear the LCD display(operator logo).
*#746025625# Sim clock allowed status.

S60 ver 1 White Screen of Death-WSOD

S-60 phone's Almost finishes starting up then the screen goes white and it resets - I cant get it to work what can I do?

Are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin....
This is known as the N-Gage White Screen of death - WSOD

S60 ver 1 phones don't have a key combination that can be used to reset them on boot. Most other Symbian OS based Nokia S60 phones do have this useful last resort but somewhere in this phones product cycle it was omitted.

Symbian OS phones often need to be reset if they become too low on free memory to operate successfully. They dont like running out of space on the internal memory.

S60 ver 1 phones are particularly susceptible to this since they are often used for games, mp3 files and other large sized download content and Bluetooth in particular can be used to initiate file transfers that will just render the devices useless on next reboot.

How can it be fixed?
How can I reset my phone myself? You cant. The phone needs to be returned to a service centre and have the user memory cleared. This is not the same as having the phones firmware 'flashed'. But flashing the phone also clears the user memory so it does fix the problem. Most phone unlocking software can clear the user memory without needing to flash the phone.

Its a good idea to insist on the latest release at this point.

How can I stop it happening again?

Dont transfer large files over Bluetooth
Do install any software on the MMC not on the internal memory
Dont install hacks for themes or skins or fonts
Dont store a lot of email, contacts, call log info

Symbian OS is an operating system, designed for mobile devices, with associated libraries, user interface frameworks and reference implementations of common tools, produced by Symbian Ltd. It is a descendant of Psion's EPOC and runs exclusively on ARM processors.

Symbian is currently owned by Ericsson (15.6%), Nokia (47.9%), Panasonic (10.5%), Samsung (4.5%), Siemens AG (8.4%), and Sony Ericsson (13.1%). Whilst BenQ has acquired the mobile phone subsidiary of Siemens AG the Siemens AG stake in Symbian does not automatically pass to BenQ - this will need the approval of the Symbian Supervisory Board.

Latest version of Symbian

Symbian OS v6.0 and v6.1. Sometimes called ER6. The first 'open' Symbian OS phone, the Nokia 9210, was released on 6.0.

Symbian OS v7.0 and v7.0s. First shipped in 2003. This is an important Symbian release which appeared with all contemporary user interfaces including UIQ (Sony Ericsson P800, P900, P910, Motorola A925, A1000), Series 80 (Nokia 9300, 9500), Series 90 (Nokia 7710), S60 (Nokia 6600, 7310) as well as several FOMA phones in Japan.

Symbian OS v8.0. First shipped in 2004, one of its advantages would have been a choice of two different kernels (EKA1 or EKA2). However, the EKA2 kernel version did not ship until SymbianOS v8.1b. The kernels behave more or less identically from user-side, but are internally very different. EKA1 was chosen by some manufacturers to maintain compatibility with old device drivers, whilst EKA2 offered advantages such as a hard real-time capability. v8.0b was deproductized in 2003.

Symbian OS v8.1. Basically a cleaned-up version of 8.0, this was available in 8.1a and 8.1b versions, with EKA1 and EKA2 kernels respectively. The 8.1b version, with EKA2's single-chip phone support but no additional security layer, was popular among Japanese phone companies desiring the realtime support but not allowing open application installation.

Symbian OS v9.0. This version was used for internal Symbian purposes only. It was deproductised in 2004. v9.0 marked the end of the road for EKA1. v8.1a is the final EKA1 version of SymbianOS.

Symbian OS has generally maintained reasonable binary compatibility. In theory the OS was BC from ER1-ER5, then from 6.0 to 8.1b. Substantial changes were needed for 9.0, related to tools and security, but this should be a one-off event. The move from requiring ARMv4 to requiring ARMv5 did not break backwards compatibility. A Symbian developer proclaims that porting from Symbian 8.x to Symbian 9.x is a more daunting process than Symbian says. [2]

Symbian OS v9.1 released early 2005. It includes many new security related features, particularly a controversial platform security module facilitating mandatory code signing. Symbian argues that applications and content, and therefore a developers investment, are better protected than ever, however others contend that the requirement that every application be signed (and thus approved) violates the rights of the end-user, the owner of the phone, and limits the amount of free software available. The new ARM EABI binary model means developers need to retool and the security changes mean they may have to recode. S60 3rd Edition phones have Symbian OS 9.1. Sony Ericsson is shipping the M600i based on Symbian OS 9.1 and should ship the P990 in Q3 2006. The earlier versions had a fatal defect where the phone hangs temporarily after the owner sent hundreds of SMSes. However, on 13 September 2006, Nokia releases a small program to fix this defect[3].

Symbian OS v9.2 released Q1 2006. Support for Bluetooth 2.0 (was 1.2) and OMA Device Management 1.2 (was 1.1.2). S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 phones have Symbian OS 9.2.

S60 (formerly known as Series 60) is a platform for smart phones. It is originally developed by Nokia and it is based on Symbian OS. Since S60 phone is a smart phone, you can do more than just voice calling and text messaging. It provides more features, such as managing calendar, browsing the Internet, listening to music and even playing games. Currently there are more than 30 S60 devices in the market.
The S60 Platform (formerly Series 60 User Interface) is a platform for mobile phones that uses Symbian OS. S60 is currently amongst the leading smartphone platforms in the world. It is developed primarily by Nokia and licensed by them to other manufacturers including Lenovo, LG Electronics, Panasonic and Samsung.

In addition to the manufacturers community includes - software integration companies such as Elektrobit, Teleca, Sysopen Digia - semiconductor companies Texas Instruments, STMicroelectronics, Broadcom, Renesas, Freescale - software developers and - operators Vodafone, Orange who develop and provide S60 based mobile applications and services.

S60 consists of a suite of libraries and standard applications, such as telephony, PIM tools, and Helix-enabled multimedia players. It is intended to power fully-featured modern phones with large colour screens, which are commonly known as smartphones.

The S60 software is a multivendor standard for smartphones that supports application development in Java MIDP, C++, and Python[1]. An important feature of S60 phones is that they allow new applications to be installed after purchase.

These are a few common features in S60:
Devices' display resolution is originally 176x208. Since 2nd Edition Feature Pack 3, S60 supports multiple resolutions, i.e. Basic (176x208), QVGA (240x320) and Double (352x416). Nokia N90 is the first S60 device that supports higher resolution (352x416). Some devices, however, have non-standard resolutions, like the Siemens SX1, with 176x220. Nokia 5500 has a 208x208 screen resolution.
It supports Java (J2ME MIDP 2.0 etc.) applications and Symbian C++ applications.

It is noteworthy that software written for S60 1st edition (S60v1) or 2nd edition (S60v2) is not binary compatible with S60 3rd edition (S60v3), because it uses a new, hardened version of the Symbian OS (v9.1).
